Book Blogger Hop -The Longest Book I've Ever Read

Book Blogger Hop is a great way to discover other book blogs and learn more about the bloggers. This meme is hosted by Crazy for Books, so be sure to check her out.

This week's question is:

“What’s the LONGEST book you've ever read?”

The longest book I've ever read also happens to be my favorite book. Cutting for Stone comes at a whopping 667 pages for the paperback. Granted, it's not War and Peace or anything, but it's still pretty long. Even after all that, though, I didn't want it to end. It is a wonderfully written story about twin brothers from Ethiopia and their journey through life.

I'd love to hear which long books you've read and if you recommend them.

Love and (a book) light,

~Dorothy

  6. Isn't it so true that if you're really loving a book you always wish it was longer, no matter how ginormous it is! I haven't read this one yet but it is on my list.

  7. This book sounds very interesting. I'll have to keep it in mind. I don't mind long books as long as it is interesting and well-written. On my blog, I posted Harry Potter was my longest (the 7th book, although I realized the 5th was longer) :D

I like your slogan up top. You don't discriminate with books. Neither do I. But even though I have a Nook, I still love the feel of a real book in hand.

    Enjoy your weekend,
    Jen :)

  8. Cutting for Stone has been on the paperback bestseller list for a while, but I've never picked it up. It sounds good, though - maybe I'll check it out soon!
    Happy reading!
