I would recommend reading this with your kids when they're 8 or 9; it really depends on their reading level and, most importantly, whether you think they're ready for these scary tales. I really wouldn't do it any earlier than that. I remember being really afraid! I did read Point...I didn't read the Goosebumps. I did read Point Horror and Fear Street though. I loved Fear Street. I don't think I gained anything from them either but I devoured them. I use...I love that you're featuring Goosebumps. I used to read both these and his Fear Street novels.
